For many Scouts and families summer is the best time of the year. It’s what we spend the rest of the year looking forward to….a time to get outside, play games, swim, hike, fish, and take great adventures. For all of us, summer can’t get here soon enough, because that’s the time to GO TO CAMP! 

The time to start making plans for all of the summer Cub Scout programs, is now. We offer our Cubs, leaders and parents 5 distinct programs to enjoy: Medieval Times, Wilderness Adventure, Flintlock Village, Nature Wonders, and Native American Village.  In addition the traditional Archery, BB Gun and the vastly improved Aquatics program.

This web page has been designed to give you all the information you need for you and your son to decide which summer program is right for you. You will also find helpful information you can use as you prepare for your summer adventures and registration materials to get signed up.

Camp Note;  

As we enter our 6th year of Cub Scout summer camp at Parker Scout Reservation, we have decided it is time to make some changes.  We received a lot of good ideas and suggestions from the evaluations everyone filled out last summer.  
    So, here's a plan; 
        1.  Introducing some new theme and camp activities.  
        2.  Elevate the Webelos program to inlcude, Preparing to join               the Troop.  
        3.  Webelos will be introduced to some Boy scout methods,
             concepts and challenges.

What are you doing this summer?!? Come to camp and volunteer or joing our awesome CIT crew. We are looking for scouts (14+) to help our Theme Leaders in various parts of camp.  If your looking for a sure fire fun time send us a message (HERE), sign up alone or bring a friend. You can come to camp for 1 weekend or all 6. Generally scouts have so much fun they always come back when possible. Our CIT's and Youth volunteers are always the first ones considered when paid positions open in camp.

If you are involved in a Troop please help us out by just sharing this information about our need for youth staff (14+).  All you need to do is spread the word for us we greatly appreciate it. Contact Bob at  Robertcp@bsacmc.org  for more information. All volunteer camp staff registration fee is free all you need to do is bring your gear and be ready for an AWESOME weekend at Parker Scout Reservation.
